Bug#549018: Extra information

I have since discovered that when the pings are not being received by the link aggregated machine, running 'tcpdump -i bond0 icmp' will temporarily resolve this problem for the duration tcpdump is running.
This seems to be explicitly tied to whether the interface is in promiscuous mode. 'tcpdump -i bond0 -p icmp' does not temporarily fix the issue.
