No, I did use patch -p1.

Do I use the right source? Because the line-numbers in the patch differs
to my source, I fear this is the problem.
The relevant sections are at 1668 and 2245 in my atl1e_main.c.
I use the source from "apt-get install linux-source-2.6.26"
