Hi: I forgot to say it, I downgraded to initramfs-tools 0.93.4, that is the one I used to generate the working initrd. But then upgraded to 0.94.2 once 33 was working again, and inspected the file to be sure mdadm files are still there (yes, they are). And rebooted again to be sure the initrd worked too. *sigh* It does, all seem solved.
