I can no longer reproduce this in 2.6.37. After the update to 2.6.37, I commented out "options i915 powersave=0" from modprobe.d and used update-initramfs -k all -u. That was more than a week ago (probably two weeks ago), and so far I haven't seen any corruption at all. I've been switching between 2.6.36 and 2.6.37 recently so that I can use VirtualBox (linux-kbuild-2.6.37 isn't released yet, so I can't compile virtualbox-ose-dkms for 2.6.37), and every time I'm booted into 2.6.36 I can see the corruption every now and then, as I described in this report.
It looks like it's fixed in 2.6.37 for me, then. :-) Thanks, -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected] Archive: http://lists.debian.org/[email protected]
