I can't run linux-image-2.6.39-2-powerpc 2.6.39-2, linux-image-2.6.39-1-powerpc 2.6.39-1 or linux-image-2.6.38-2-powerpc 2.6.38-5 as a result I am not able to confirm if bug 627585 has been fixed on this arch.
