I'm sorry if I was unclear, but rootdelay does NOT help in this situation. As the documentation explains, rootdelay delays between SCSI scan and mdadm / LVM assembly / scan. I need a delay between mdadm assembly and LVM scan, not after SCSI scan. It seems the local-top/lvm2 starts BEFORE local-top/mdadm is finished. The "sleep 2" was the only thing which works consistently. Probably a udevadm settle or something should also do the trick. I'll try that and report back. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
