sorry for so not long responding,
I was fighting with Embedded Controller Version 3.03 and finally it is
3.04, but nothing else has changed.

I did not make a mistake BIOS presents:
CPU Speed 1.53GHz

what is the source of /proc/cpuinfo ?
when I load and unload patched speedstep-centrino module /proc/cpuinfo
stucked with single frequency, even it was changed by ondemand kernel
governor.

so it seems to be still BIOS problem...
