Weird. I don't see many potentially relevant recent changes upstream, but there is v3.1-rc1~234^2 (EHCI: fix direction handling for interrupt data toggles, 2011-07-19). If you get a chance to test v3.1-rc3 or later and report back, that would be excellent.
