Sorry for the long silence. Basic questions:

 - Please attach the output of

        /usr/share/bug/linux-image-$(uname -r)/script 3>&1

and dmesg output right after booting, to give a sense of the
   hardware and drivers in use.

 - Do you have logs from before and after the resume (

        dmesg >dmesg_before; \
        echo mem >/sys/power/state; \
        dmesg >dmesg_after

   ) with selinux disabled?

 - Is this reproducible without the radeon driver loaded (one can
test by blacklisting the radeon driver, for example)?

 - Is this reproducible with version 3.x from unstable? It should
be possible to install with initramfs-tools and linux-base from
squeeze-backports. If so, please report this upstream at

   - http://bugs.freedesktop.org/, product DRI, component DRM/Radeon
if it seems to be a graphics driver problem

   - http://bugzilla.kernel.org/, product Power Management, component
     Suspend/Hibernation, otherwise

and let us know the bug number so we can track it.

Thanks,
Jonathan
