Some update. I left my laptop unattended the whole night. Windows did perform a reboot after that. For some reason my USB mouse was unplugged and this morning my laptop did boot successfully my debian system.
So short story: just unplugged any USB device and it should boot nicely. Let me know if I should just close this bug.
