No I can't hear sound either. I tried all alsamixer controls (using F6 to change card) but it didn't work. Today alsamixer segfault when I try to execute it. I'm sure it worked before when I tried all the controls. I'm going to remove /var/lib/alsa/asound.state, restart the computer and retry alsamixer.
