It seems mostly used in recent laptops, but some desktops also features this chip. I don't know of any USB gadget with this chip, but as the chip is connected on the USB bus, it would be quite easy to conceive a USB gadget with it. Anyway, I guess it is better to enable it only on i386/amd64 until we discover some actual USB gadget using it. Thanks for the patch !
