I have just installed kernel 3.2 from debian-backports linux-image-3.2.0-0.bpo.2-686-pae (=3.2.18-1~bpo60+1) on a squeeze system $ uname -r 3.2.0-0.bpo.2-686-pae And I am started receiving this kind of messages $ dmesg|tail [ 274.910635] grub-probe: sending ioctl 1261 to a partition!
