It`s all on gentoo box with kernel:
# uname -srv
    Linux 3.3.8-gentoo #2 SMP Tue Jul 3 21:43:33 MSK 2012

and mdadm version
# mdadm --version
    mdadm - v3.1.4 - 31st August 2010
