Using xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.19.0-5, xserver-xorg-core and xserver-common 2:1.12.3-1, I tried the following kernel versions: (0) linux-image-3.2.0-3-amd64 3.2.21-3 (original bug report) (1) linux-image-3.1.0-1-amd64 3.1.8-2 (2) linux-image-3.2.0-3-amd64 3.2.23-3 (3) linux-image-3.3.0-trunk-amd64 3.3.6-1~experimental.1 (4) linux-image-3.4-trunk-amd64 3.4.4-1~experimental.1 (5) linux-image-3.5-trunk-amd64 3.5.2-1~experimental.1 I also tried the newest version of xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.20.5-1, xserver-xorg-core and xserver-common 2:1.12.3.902-1: (6) linux-image-3.2.0-3-amd64 3.2.23-3 (7) linux-image-3.3.0-trunk-amd64 3.3.6-1~experimental.1 (8) linux-image-3.4-trunk-amd64 3.4.4-1~experimental.1 (9) linux-image-3.5-trunk-amd64 3.5.2-1~experimental.1 (10) linux 3.6rc3+ c182ae3 In all cases the laptop rebooted upon dragging the image displayed in the browser. In (3), (4), (5), (7), (9) and (10) I only got reboots after trying to drag the second time. Also, while being dragged the rebooting image is shown as black rectangle (in all cases), while for smaller images the image is shown next to the mouse cursor. Any ideas how to debug that further are welcome, since the typical recipies for hung gpus don't work. Sten -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
