Apparently because NFS is statically linked (and we only ignore those ABI changes in the modules). Curious - is there a reason for statically linking NFS on mips? Perhaps sb1-bcm91250a and sb1a-bcm91480b need ROOT_NFS more than other architectures, but I that doesn't explain mipsel.
