That happened already 1 hour ago. I was watching a HTML5 video on YouTube when machine froze totally, even SysRq doesn't work. Sound was looping the last fraction of a second endlessly. Power consumtion up at 80 watts! Hard reset took almost a minute till it responded (as already described in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=689268).
