I've the same issue also after : apt-get clean apt-get install --reinstall linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64
The issue is happened after last dist-upgrade of the same linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64 ... before all work fine.
I'm not able to revert to an earlier kernel/modules to prove it and I'm "surviving" with slow VESA, GDM2, ...
