Package: initramfs-tools Version: 0.110 Severity: wishlist It would be very nice if mkinitramfs considers the kernel module dependencies when creating the initrd. /lib/modules/\ 3.8.?/modules.dep shows pretty clear that ehci-hcd depends upon ehci-pci, for example. See #700572.
