No, not at all. It still fails to boot, triggering a system alarm beep sequence some time after the initramfs is loaded (with no output on serial). I've just decoded the flashing LED codes using the doc at [1]. I've got the System LED flashing red, and Diagnostic LED #3 solid red. That indicates "System Board", which is a bit non-specific.
