FYI, I'm still seeing this problem in the following kernel from squeeze-backports:

Is the fix going to be backported there too? We're currently waiting on another bug before we can seriously consider rolling with wheezy [1]. [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=658896
