Dear Debian Kernel Team,

we opened a ticket for Squeeze some months ago regarding a Adaptec kernel
driver bug, see: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=705048

The problem is the same under wheezy (same module version -> 28000).

Is there any chance you can backport a newer kernel module version in the next
point release? The current wheezy driver is unusable with all Adaptec
controllers of the series 6XXX and 7XXX.

Would be great if this problem could be solved in the future, without compiling
a DKMS driver on each system. ☺
Thanks in advance.
