Dear Debian Kernel Team, we opened a ticket for Squeeze some months ago regarding a Adaptec kernel driver bug, see: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=705048
The problem is the same under wheezy (same module version -> 28000). Is there any chance you can backport a newer kernel module version in the next point release? The current wheezy driver is unusable with all Adaptec controllers of the series 6XXX and 7XXX.
