I confirm you it is ethtool eth0 output, I'm quite busy today i didn't check in details the copy/paste. As I said to Quinn Fissler, my internet connection maximum speed is 100mbps so it might prevent the nic to set itself to 1000mbps i'll get a 1000mbps switch and test the nic in a tiny lan this week end.
