Hi, there's a patch in the upstream bug report at <https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85051>. It would be great if that patch (or whatever ends up being submitted/accepted upstream) could land in Jessie, as this will fix backlight control for at least some Laptops with multiple GPUs - a fairly annoying regression compared to Wheezy.
