I see from your Bug report that USB isn't working on your BBB.
I also see that you have a revision B or earlier BBB (Rev C moved to 4GB
eMMC).
In revision A6A, amongst other things that changed, was capacitor C106.
This needs to be 1uF (although my testing suggests slightly higher would
be better still). It affects the USB system start up, and without it
hot plug just does not work.
Can you please check that you are using a revision B or greater revision
of the BeagleBone Black.
