Package: upgrade-reports, linux-image-3.16.0-4-powerpc Followup-For: Bug #783381
I also had this problem on an iBook G4, but had not rebooted, yet. When I started to look into it, I looked at the mkvmlinuz package page [1] and upon reading the description, I just decided to remove/purge the mkvmlinuz package, since I'm using yaboot as bootloader. That way, I got rid of this error, and the configuration of the kernel package was successful. I did not have issues during the reboot either, so at least in my setup, mkvmlinuz does not seem to be required. I do have other issues on this system though (mainly with the graphics card, and suspend to ram/disk), but I think they are not related to the problem with mkvmlinuz.
