Nevermind that a firmware bug in my book is something that affects things locally, the fact that 3.2 is not affected and the items listed above make it a kernel/upstream Mellanox bug. I'd appreciate if you could use whatever means you have to kick this upstream as well. I'll send a mail to Mellanox support, which they may well ignore, this being a Supermicro OEM product, never mind that it's 100% identical.
