I have a problem installing Debian on my Dell Inspiron 8000. When the kernel used by the installation procedure tries to initzialise the pc card controller it just hangs for a while and then reboots. It's a PCI5441 Cardbus Controller. I found many others succesfully installed Debian on the same hardware.
