kernel 2.4.20 and pcmcia-source-3.1.33-6 is better. I still get an occasional "spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7" but it is fairly rare. I am not getting any eth0 errors on the screen. I started a copy of a bunch of mp3's from one system to another and it seems to work well. It is only running 10mbps/half duplex (old wire in this building). The irq7 problem might be because it is excluded in config.opts. As I mentioned before, it is old hardware... > Also, is there a place where this problem is documented thoroughly? > Where do you locate the new pcmcia souce package? I compiled mine to fit the laptop. It is a small laptop and it helps to throw out all the junk that isn't needed. jim > Thanks, > Clement > > > > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
