I'm running Sid on my Omnibook 4100 (same vid, 233/64 meg) and X is
working splendidly at 1024x768, 16 bit color, setup via debconfig when
I installed. As far as I know, the config hasn't changed since the
laptop was woody. I attached a copy of my X config file, perhaps you
can compare it against yours and see what might be happening. I also
frequent linuxbeginner.org and its irc channel on freenode if you need
more help.
