These last lines are repeated continuously till I ssh into the laptop and stop gdm. At that time top shows that xfree86 is taking 99% of CPU and the fan of the laptop is running at full speed and "acpi -V" shows that the temperature is 68C. As soon as gdm is killed, the temperature comes down within seconds and in half a minute of so all is okay again.
So the question is, what is causing this? And what is that "apm: BIOS not found"? Does the latter message mean that BIOS does not support apm at all?
Has anyone else experienced this?
If my config file will help, I will post it.
