Anything with the vesa statement provides a normal console (80x25).
Anything with radeonfb or vesafb without the [EMAIL PROTECTED] provides a
blackscreen during bootup. This doesn't lock the machine up, I just can
see anything that happening.
The radeonfb and vesafb with the [EMAIL PROTECTED] statements provide a normal
console (80x25)
The vga= statement gives me a blank screen as well.
check if you have CONFIG_VIDEO_SELECT=y enabled. vga= line shoud work
with this enabled. vga=792 works great on my presario 2540. my .config
is available here http://www.gpoppy.org/config-2.6.9 radeonfb is still
buggy on my machine, vesafb works fine.
