This is the best HOWTO I've found for the TI based DLINK cards.
http://www.houseofcraig.net/acx100_howto.php
It references an earlier revision of the drivers but the lastest can be
found here:

The README in the source tarball is also very helpful, it should help to get
hotplug working correctly.
I'm a newbie also and this was my first venture into getting oddball
hardware (to linux at least) working. It written with newbies in mind, I
learned alot from it.

Subject: new debian user trouble with dwl-650 wireless network card
Hello,
I am relatively new to Debian. I have Debian Woody installed on an IBM
Thinkpad. I have a D-Link DWL-650 wireless ethernet card. I have found
information via Google which seems to indicate Woody should support this
device.
Given that I am new, I am looking for advice on where to begin to find a
solution to my problem.
Thank you,
dan elliott
