(you know you sent this to me, and not the whole list?) The support is on the drivers.tgz file. I've always loaded it as an 'alternate' to configureing device driver support, BEFORE addming any of the other device driver support. But I don't know if that's your problem.
It'd probably help if we had the name/type of your machine, and what install you're doing (woody, potato, slink?)
