Maybe there's an easier way, but here's how I had to install on my tecra8000: use tecra boot disk create filesystem. mount filesystem. copy the base and tecra image to the mounted filesystem (CTRL-F2 to get a shell from the install menu---i just copied them to home) rename from zImage-tecra (or whatever it was) to zImage proceed with install, installing from a chosen directory (in my case, home)
I could write a detailed tecra-laptop-install-howto if anyone thought it'd be helpful. jeff
