Hello, I would be very glad to see what the final choice was/will be, brandname+model+$ for the interface and burner and external case, Debian package of choice to run the burner and its eventual specific setup (and possibly kernel needs + module config for the interface).
(I wonder if it could be a good idea to collect such genericDebianLaptop-related infos somewhere, organized for desired goal...
