dell inspiron 8000

hello again
 does anyone know of some documentation dealing with a debian install on a
dell inspiron 8000 (maybe even a step by step :>) i cannot seem to get
anywere with this thing. ive searched many hours and cannot seem to find
any docs at all other than X related issues.
