I have tried every patch from SiS http://www.sis.com.tw , kernel recompilation, updating from XFree 3.3.X to 4, and doesnt work,...
It's curious, Mandrake 7.2 Installation in graphic mode work PERFECTLY. I have a friend that has the same chip (SiS 630) and he got his LCD working in Mandrake 7.1. Maybe it is a trouble of my LCD vendor (?). I think I did something wrong against GNU and now I am being punished LOL PS: saludos a los FIEras de la facultad de sevilla ;) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Federico Montesino" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Iván Rodríguez Murillo" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, April 23, 2001 11:43 AM Subject: Re: SiS 630 + XFree > On Mon, Apr 23, 2001 at 08:47:57AM +0200, Iván Rodríguez Murillo wrote: > > I have problems setting refresh frecuency of my LCD. > > At windows it says that my monitor is capable of doing 1024x768 at 60Hz with > > 32-bit of colour depth. > > > > I don't have cojones of setup my XF86Config to get X working...
