Yes, there is a patch for XFree 4.0 in http://www.sis.com.tw,
but I cannot make it work for my sis630 (revision 31), it seems to
work only for old revisions. I am not the only one who have this
problem.
I have tried all kind of kernels, patches, versions of XFree,
but, as you say, it seems that current sis630 is only supported with
external monitor, which works fine.
