iomega PCMCIA 250mb ZIP can't work

Hi!

my system was potato-r3, when I insert the
iomega PCMCIA 250mb ZIP,  it was detected by
the system, but can't read or write, 
Is this drive not suported or something wrong 
on my side? (my CF card was no problem)
