I'm using the framebuffer device on my IPC Highnote which also has an SiS 630, and it's working fine. (1024x768) I haven't tried other resolutions, though. (xserver-common 3.3.6-11potato, xserver-fbsev 3.3.6-11potato) Good luck Stefan
