Hi I have got ths Targa Xtender 300 with linux and win98 on it. Everything is OK, BUT:
(in win, everything is OK), under linux, which is the system under which I ealy work, I have got a problems with serial and paralel ports. serial: ttyS0 and S1 is not working properly. it does work, it send some signals, but serial mouse is doing nonsenses; communication with my Palm gets 'wierd packet' errors. paralel: used for printer. printer config is OK! it is a copy from a computer, where it works!!! when printing text, it prints some of it, when printing postscript, it prints high-quality postscript nonsens. I have got now 2.4.6 kernel (didn't work with previous either), serial and parport as modules or in kernel = no change anyway.setting of the ports (from setserial seems to be OK and normal ) any ideas?? thanks Matej -- ...............................
