Thought I'd take another look at booting my Debian install from a Zip (or booting to DOS, then using loadlin); I went to the Iomega site and looked around. I found the following rather troubling "answer", at http://www.iomega.com/support/documents/10372.html,
"At this time, Iomega® does not support the use of the Zip® 100 SCSI drive as a boot drive for the Windows® 98/95 operating systems. Use of your Zip 100 SCSI drive as a bootable drive for these operating systems will void your warranty on the drive and Iomega can not guarantee continued technical support services." Yikes! Void your warranty simply by trying to boot a disk? Bruce
