I have a Dell Lattitude CPi (J series I think) with a 750Mhz Speedstep CPU. I'm running kernel 2.2.19 and having no problems whatsoever. I set the BIOS Speedstep setting to "Maximum Performance", so that it runs at one speed all the time.
