I just checked up Compaq Presario webpages. There is something called 700 series laptops, which comes with AMD Duron processors. They seem to be cheap.(around $1000) with S3 Savage graphics chip. They have not given details of the size of the display. Anyone having experience running Debian GNU/Linux on this machine?
