Greetings: I didn't initially know that I had a wireless NIC installed on my Gateway Solo 1200. I kept win-xp installed, so I booted it and sure enough, the NIC is installed and working. It is: Orinoco (wireless lan card) Lucent Technology on Texas Instruments PCI-1410 card buss Unfortunately, I have no wireless bridge/hub to use with it yet, but it looks promising. I don't know if you have tried loading PCMCIA package yet, but here it caused the whole system to lockup. I do not know yet why it did or if it is related to the Wireless NIC. gl - -- Jaye Inabnit\ARS ke6sls\/A GNU-Debian linux user\/ http://www.qsl.net/ke6sls If it's stupid, but works, it ain't stupid.
