hey list, I'm having trouble helping a mate get X working on his 505fx.
we've got gdm running, logging in, then X seems to cycle through a couple of resolutions (with funky lines) then dumps us back to gdm.
tried a few setups found on the web, but nothing seems to work. anyone got any thoughts? it's a neomagic card. cheers, iain
