I've had good luck using the "printtool" package -- this is borrowed from Red Hat; it's a Tcl/Tk GUI for configuring printers. Setting up to print to a SMB printer is pretty easy. It's probably not the "Debian Way", but it works for me. -- Thatcher Ulrich http://tulrich.com
