you have three choices: 1. use the XFree 3.3.6 (SVGA-Server) 2. use the vesa driver in XFree 4 3. use the XFree 4.2.1 backport packages (eg from: "deb http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/debian woody/bunk-1 main contrib non-free" there are some other usefull packages) another source to lock is http://www.apt-get.org KH PS: I have to get my backup of slink to lock up the settings for XFree 3 if you are interested I will fetch them. -- // In a world without walls and fences who needs Windows and Gates ? //
