anyone been using gdm 2 and gnome 2? i recently upgraded my gnome packages to 2.2 and everything else using apt-get. installation was a breeze and i got real neat icons and desktop. however when i used gdmconfig to change the greeter from standard to graphical, everything froze. basically the gdm login sreen freezes into grey and nothing appears. i just have to kill gdm. there is a tip on gnome2.2 page about the splash screen freezing. but i think thats not my problem since the standard greeter works ok. can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? or is it buggy!
